The Story Continues

May 20, 2023 - Alex Braddock's journey to the top has been anything but easy. Braddock started his career just over two years ago as the personal caddy for "The Golf Father" Dale Springs. In Spring of 2022, Braddock and Springs relationship began to show cracks before ultimately breaking down completely shortly after Springs cashed in his Voltage tag to earn the CWF Championship. 

The Golf Father sealed the deal with a brutal shot across Alex Braddock's back, leading to a Back Nine Brawl between the two at Under Par, where Braddock emerged victorious over his former friend, to win his first CWF Championship and first major championship in his young career. The celebration was short lived however, as Izaiah Zane would attack Braddock immediately after the match in an impromptu match, thus winning his first CWF Championship. 

The controversy continued into 2023, with then CWF Owner Marshal Briggs formally stripping Zane of the championship due to "questionable circumstances" surrounding the sanctioning of the impromptu match at Under Par. Questions still remain about who ordered the match, with the former CWF General Manager as the prime suspect. 

The stage was then set, Alex Braddock and Izaiah Zane would face off in a one-on-one match at Conspiracy for the vacant CWF Championship, with Marshal Briggs as the special guest referee. Briggs wouldn't be able to fulfill his role as special referee after suffering an attack and injury at the hands of Justin Flo. This sudden development lead the shocking return of "The Golf Father" to the CWF, who would serve as special referee for a championship match between two men he has deep history with. 

After outside interference from Justin Flo and Disobey, Alex Braddock overcame the odds yet again to pin Zane in the middle of the ring and capture his second CWF Championship! What does the future hold for "The Storyteller" as he rolls into CWF Voltage on June 17th? With the return of Jay Alexander looming, how will Braddock overcome his biggest obstacle yet?
