MILTON, FL - Just weeks after battling Dale Springs in "The Rematch", Simon Phillips shook the Coastal Wrestling Federation to it's foundation when he defeated Alex Braddock for the CWF Championship at Road Block '23.
Although he came up short in his match against Dale Springs last month at Voltage, the leader of Disobey got the last laugh when he defeated the best friend and mentee of Dale Springs, "The Storyteller" Alex Braddock. For months, Springs and Phillips have gone to war, both at PW225 in Louisiana and here in Florida at the CWF.
For months, Disobey has been on a rampage, first capturing the CWF Tag Team Championship from the first ever tag champs, "Da Russell Twins". After a dominant run as tag champs, the group seized the opportunity to physically dismantle both Springs and Braddock a month prior to Road Block, setting the stage for what would become a history making evening at Road Block, where Phillips won his first ever major singles title.
The night wasn't over, as the live audience was surprised by a farewell speech from Alex Braddock. Has the story truly ended for "The Storyteller"? Will we ever see Braddock or Springs grace a CWF ring again, or has Disobey permanently ended the duo's time at the Coastal Wrestling Federation?
